Kenneth Washington — Founder/CEO
About Me
I’m Kenneth ( Ken ) Washington. I’m an entrepreneur, operator, and builder at heart. I’ve founded and built three seven-figure businesses across multiple industries, and I did it the way most real entrepreneurs do it—without unlimited resources, without having every answer, and without waiting until everything was perfect.
I’m a bootstrapped entrepreneur. I see opportunities, I move fast, I figure things out, and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. Some things have worked incredibly well. Some haven’t. But every business, every risk, and every lesson has made me a better entrepreneur.
A big part of my journey has been in healthcare and senior living, and that’s intentional. I have a genuine passion for people. I believe you can build businesses that make real money and still do meaningful work. Purpose and profit can live in the same room.
That’s really where Stand in the GAP comes from.
Grit. Action. Profit.
You need the grit to keep going when entrepreneurship gets uncomfortable. You need action because ideas don’t build businesses—execution does. And ultimately, a business needs to produce profit if you want it to survive, grow, and create opportunity.
Through The GAP Series, I’m sharing what I actually know from doing this—not theory from the sidelines. The wins, the mistakes, the numbers, the strategies, and the things I wish somebody had told me earlier.
It starts with The Six-Figure Guide to Making Money with Independent Living, but independent living is only the beginning.
I’m still building. I’m still learning. And as I find the gaps, I’m going to show other entrepreneurs how to stand in them.
